Authors Elizabeth Diane and Andrew Marshall launch Listening with Heart 360: The New Paradigm for Women.
There are many books for women out there with self help advice. In fact, changing your life seems to be a fashionable thing to do these days. Although the idea may not be vastly different, the authors of Listening with Heart 360: The New Paradigm for Women have taken a briefly touched-upon subject and fleshed it out.
Listening with Heart 360: The New Paradigm for Women shares the philosophy that women have been programmed through the media, family, friends and culture not to be the stars of their own lives. This leads to unfulfilled relationships and questioning what they've done wrong.
The premise is that women need to de-program all of the exterior messages in order to listen to their own. Only by doing this can they begin to get out of the mindset that traps them: the authors call it “The New Paradigm for Women.” And if you’ve ever asked yourself, “What’s wrong with me?” this approach will be a welcome answer to a question we need to stop asking in the first place.
Elizabeth Diane and Andrew Marshall started their business as an online tool to help women de-program from the messages that put them in a rut. This year, their efforts have been compiled into a book and launched as Listening with Heart 360: The New Paradigm for Women: it’s a companion tool to the website and works in conjunction to provide interactive guidance.
For those women who need a change, are going through a divorce or are dealing with their teenaged daughters, this is a great read. Chapters are split up so that you can read the book from cover to cover, or read the most pertinent sections first. The introduction by the authors actually recommends you to read the last three chapters first in order to get an idea of the outcome.
In addition to this innovative book, author Elizabeth Diane does speaking engagements to the public. These can be to groups of women, mothers, daughters and everyone in between. They mostly focus on stopping the programming, but also deal with leadership, an in-depth look at the Situation Wheel (a tool in the book to improve relationships), the concept of natural weight and letting go of dieting, and a mother/daughter presentation for those going through puberty.
